To "Make a Reservation" please refer to the instructions below. A representative from Kandui Resort will contact you to take you step by step through the reservation process if necessary.

Your submitted information will be used to set up your trip and secure the necessary permits for you to travel to the Mentawai Islands. None of the information submitted to us will be used in any way besides its intended purpose.

How to Make a Reservation
If you are interested in booking your next vacation at Kandui Resort all you need to do is follow the instructions below.

1. Make Contact: The first thing you need to do is contact us with your requested dates using the contact information found on this website. We are available 24 hours a day to handle your needs. Likewise, you can fill out the following form and a representative from Kandui Resort will contact you promptly:

2. Fill out our Event Invitation Form: Now that you have chosen your desired dates we need to get some basic information from you and all of the members in your group if you are not traveling alone. This information will be used to secure the necessary permits to allow you to travel in the Mentawai Islands. For this step we will send you an e-mail - in this e-mail we ask you to fill out your pertinent trip information to help us prepare for your adventure. All you need to do is read over the enclosed information, fill in the required fields, and send it back to us like you would any other e-mail. Please fill in as much of the information as you can.

3. Confirm Dates and Make Deposit: Once we have confirmed your dates and received your event invitation form we require a $500 deposit to secure your booking.

Book your airline tickets: Saraina Koat Mentawai and Kandui Resort are equipped to handle all of our United States guests flight details - we will work directly with you to find the appropriate flight and schedule for your group if you need us to. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to handle your travel details on your own. Please visit our "Flight Information" page for detailed flight information - where you need to fly into, and what are the available options at your disposal.

5. Make final payment: You final payment is due two months prior to your trip's departure. Once that's in along with the information from our event invitation form you're all set to go!

6. Show up: Rule #1 is to remember to not miss your flight...believe us, it can happen to anyone. Once you've made it on the right flight, endured a trip halfway across the world, and landed in Padang we will be there to guide you onto your last flight to Rokot where you will be picked up by one of our speedboats and your vacation will officially begin! Please check out our "Travel Information" page for the complete rundown of this part of the process. *Please Note – We will collect a mandatory Mentawai Tax of $40US upon your arrival. This tax is paid to the government to help fund social programs and cover the permits necessary for you to travel and enjoy yourself in the Mentawai Islands.

7. Surf: Once you're at the resort almost everything is taken care of – practically the only thing you need to worry about is what board you should ride, if you are wearing sunblock, or drinking enough water! Frequently Asked Questions

1. What information do you need from me before my departure? We will send you our unique "Event Invitation Form". We typically collect basic contact information, your passport information, flight information, and any special requests you might have prior to departure.

2. Why do you need this information? We use this information to set up your trip and secure the necessary permits for you to travel to the Mentawai Islands.

3. How much does it cost to go on these trips? Please refer to the "Rates" page to check pricing.

4. What method of payments do you accept? We currently accept payments via wire transfer, check, money order, or by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, and American Express)

5. How much do you require for a deposit? To confirm booking we require a $500 deposit of the total price per person.

6. When is the final balance due? The balance of the total cost is to be paid no later than 60 days prior to departure (or at a later date as agreed in writing between us and client). Failure by a client to pay the final payment balance by the due date will entitle Kandui Resort's managing entity, Saraina Koat Mentawai to cancel the booking whereupon the deposit paid by the client shall be forfeited.
